Flag Football Game Preview: Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats vs. St. John Paul II Falcons

The Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats will head out to take on the St. John Paul II Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. John Paul II took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Westminster Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Westminster Christian Academy took on Pennington on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 26-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, St. John Paul II fell victim to Boaz and their airtight defense last Tuesday. They were beaten by the Pirates 61-0. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama flag football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Pirates are ranked ninth).

The victory made it two in a row for Westminster Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 26.0 points over those games. As for St. John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Westminster Christian Academy against St. John Paul II in their previous meeting back in August, as the team secured a 32-0 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
