Volleyball Game Preview: Strom Thurmond Rebels vs. Chesnee Eagles

The Strom Thurmond Rebels will venture away from home to face off against the Chesnee Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Strom Thurmond is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Chester by a score of 3-1.

Strom Thurmond was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 24-26, 25-12.

Chesnee had won five straight home games and Maggie Foy did her part to make it six on Wednesday. Everything went the Eagles' way against Chesterfield as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Foy, who had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Chesnee was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Chesnee's win bumped their record up to 21-4-1. As for Strom Thurmond, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
