Basketball Recap: Prescott Continues Home Dominance on Monday

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Prescott's strategy against Goldwater on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Prescott Badgers blew the Goldwater Bulldogs out of the water with an 89-26 final score. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prescott to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zane Gaul, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 16 boards. The game was Gaul's third in a row with at least ten points. Uriah Tenette was another key player, going 8 of 15 en route to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Prescott smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Prescott pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.2 points per game.
