Volleyball Recap: Shrine Catholic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Our Lady of the Lakes last Wednesday, Shrine Catholic came back down to earth. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Lutheran North Mustangs on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Knights have suffered since September 23, 2024.

Victoria Burnham was the offensive standout of the match as she had 15 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Shrine Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lutheran North, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Shrine Catholic will face off against Detroit Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Lutheran North and Regina will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
