Volleyball Preview: Lamar Raiders vs. Meridian Wildcats
Lamar is a perfect 4-0 against Meridian since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
On Thursday, Lamar made easy work of Simpson Academy and carried off a 3-0 victory.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lamar took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-11, 25-8.

Olivia Miles and Rylee Schimelpfening were among the main playmakers for Lamar as the former had 12 digs and seven aces and the latter had seven digs and six kills. Schimelpfening has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 33 times she's played.
