Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Braves vs. Lindhurst Blazers

The Hamilton Braves and the Lindhurst Blazers will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Hamilton saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Woodland Christian.

Despite their loss, Hamilton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Case Porter, who posted 23 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, was perhaps the best of all. Porter has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Enneking, who earned 18 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Lindhurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-22 loss at the hands of Westlake Charter.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lindhurst, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Hamilton took their victory against Lindhurst in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 62-42 score. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
