Tri-County recap Oct. 16, 2012
Pathfinder RVT extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Palmer, 50-34. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Pathfinder RVT took down the Panthers 50-34 last week, the largest margin of any game.
McCann Tech's Justin Cote and T.J. Therrien have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cote has thrown for 515 yards this season, while Therrien, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 13 catches for 204 yards. Jake Earl from Franklin County Tech leads the league in rushing with 488 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pioneer Valley Regional takes on Don Irzyk's team. The Panthers are currently in fourth, while the Pioneers are in first.
Pathfinder RVT led Tri-County in scoring this week after putting up 50 points on Palmer.
