Recap: Bloomingdale Bulls vs. East Bay Indians

The Bloomingdale Bulls lost against the East Bay Indians back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bloomingdale fell 28-20 to East Bay. Bloomingdale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Bloomingdale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Dillon Rose Bailey. Despite the final result, he threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.9% of his passes. Darien Martin was in the mix as well, providing Bloomingdale with two touchdowns.

Jaelin Sneed got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 212 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Sneed was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Laurent, who gained 111 total yards and a touchdown.

Bloomingdale's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.3 points per game. As for East Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Bloomingdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. East Bay will head out on the road to face off against King at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. King will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 499th, while East Bay is ranked 243rd).
