Nash Central has gone a perfect 6-0 against Roanoke Rapids recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Nash Central will be strutting in after a victory while Roanoke Rapids will be coming in after a defeat.

Nash Central took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 54-31 margin over American Leadership Academy-Johnston. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

ZaQuez Britt had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Elijah Horton was in the mix as well, providing Nash Central with one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nash Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 420 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Roanoke Rapids played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 42-8 loss at the hands of Bunn. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

Roanoke Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Nash Central, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-7.

Nash Central took their victory against Roanoke Rapids in their previous matchup back in October by a conclusive 47-21 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
