It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Burroughs had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They blew past the Northview Vikings 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Burros, who have now won five contests in a row.

Burroughs was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Lillah O'Grady, who had 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

O'Grady wasn't the only good servers: Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 13 consecutive matches.

Burroughs' record now sits at 26-7. As for Northview, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 23-6 record.

Looking ahead, Burroughs will square off against Oak Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Eagles have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Northview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
