Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton lost against Knob Noster back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Carrollton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Sarah Ratliff paced Carrollton's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ratliff got some help from Kinsey Fisher and her 33 assists. Kacie Swearingin and Maddie Stovall kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Knob Noster, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9-2.

Carrollton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Cameron on the 29th. As for Knob Noster, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Crest Ridge on the 27th.
