Softball Recap: Troy Christian Takes a Loss

Troy Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-6 to the Jackson Center Tigers.

Nora Inman was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Eschete, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Troy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Jackson Center, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Troy Christian will face off against Lehman Catholic at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.46 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jackson Center, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
