Basketball Recap: R.J. Reynolds Sets Scoring Season-High Against Reagan + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask R.J. Reynolds). They took down the Reagan Raiders 60-41 on Wednesday. For the Demons, this counts as revenge for the 73-29 victory the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Evie Beale was nothing short of spectacular: she shot 70% from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points. Those 24 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Di'Misha Watson, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

R.J. Reynolds smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

R.J. Reynolds' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Reagan, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. R.J. Reynolds will welcome North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reagan, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Davie County at 6:30 p.m. on December 5.
