There's no place like home for Morley Stanwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tri County Area Vikings by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Mohawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Morley Stanwood easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12.

Madeline Kozuch paced Morley Stanwood's offense, picking up seven kills. Kozuch got some help from Aivree Christensen and her 19 assists. Alexis Martin and Lila Prescott kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Morley Stanwood has been performing well recently as they've won 20 of their last 26 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-12 record this season. As for Tri County Area, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-19.

Looking ahead, Morley Stanwood will square off against Fremont at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tri County Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
