Volleyball Recap: Lisle Takes a Loss

Lisle's tournament run continued when they took on Chicago University on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1.

Brooklyn Burton paced Lisle's offense, picking up ten kills. Burton got some help from Anna Gorzkowski and her 23 assists.

Lisle's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Chicago University, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Lisle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Kenwood on the 11th. As for Chicago University, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Whitney Young on the 11th.
