Volleyball Game Preview: Mooresville Blue Devils vs. Cox Mill Chargers + Official Tickets

Mooresville hasn't had much luck against Cox Mill recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Blue Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mooresville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Grimsley 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Mooresville took Grimsley into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 17-25, 25-27, 25-22, 15-10.

Reagan Young had an outrageously good game as she had 23 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 22 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Cox Mill made easy work of Southwest Guilford on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Mooresville's record now sits at 20-6. As for Cox Mill, their record is now 26-1.
