Levi Cavalli Turns in Season-Best Performance
Levi Cavalli produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hayfork to the win on Saturday. Cavalli rushed for 286 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run.
Cavalli is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Chester on Friday. Two weeks ago (the last time Cavalli saw the Volcanoes), he rushed for 232 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries.

Silva Came Up Big in Tulelake's 64-8 Victory
Tulelake picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Xavier Silva. Burney had no answer to Silva as he rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown on only five passes.
Silva must have Burney's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Silva saw the Raiders), he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Hayfork Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to Devin Nanez
Devin Nanez was instrumental in extending Hayfork's winning streak to 20 on Saturday. Nanez rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Those 160 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Nanez is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Chester on Friday. Nanez rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only five carries the last time he and the Volcanoes duked it out two weeks ago.

Danny Garcia Delivers Best Performance of Season
Danny Garcia produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tulelake to the win on Friday. Garcia rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass.
Unfortunately for Burney, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Garcia. Garcia rushed for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.2 yards per carry the last time he and the Raiders duked it out back in October of 2023.

Hayfork Gets a Boost from Bonelli in 58-0 Win
Anthony Bonelli was instrumental in extending Hayfork's winning streak to 20 on Saturday. Loyalton had no answer to Bonelli as he rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
This season, Bonelli has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 65.3 rushing yards per game.
