Soccer Game Preview: Hilldale vs. Clinton

Hilldale is 0-3 against Clinton since May of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Hornets will welcome the Red Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Hilldale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Summit Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Hilldale are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 16 straight.

They hit Summit Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Zach Marlow, Enrique Gomez, and Hayden Pickering.

Meanwhile, Clinton made easy work of Chickasha on Monday and carried off a 4-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Clinton.

Hilldale pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those eight matches. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
