Softball Recap: Arlington Catholic Comes Up Short

Arlington Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Lowell Catholic Ftng Crusaders. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Ftng Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Arlington Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josie Connors, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Arlington Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lowell Catholic, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4-1.

Coming up, Arlington Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lowell Catholic, they will challenge Minuteman Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
