Soccer Game Preview: Davie County vs. South Iredell + How To Watch

The Davie County War Eagles will square off against the South Iredell Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davie County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Davie County is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against North Iredell on Thursday. The War Eagles fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. One reason for the loss might be Davie County's aggressive play style: Hernan Granadero and Dylan Cassetta were both handed yellow cards.

Davie County's goal came courtesy of Ethan Christie, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, South Iredell and Mooresville finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

With that draw, South Iredell's record moves to 8-9-2. As for Davie County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-3.
