Harlan extended their winning streak to seven on Thursday, bumping them up to 7-0. They really took it to the Stevens Falcons for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-19 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won four contests by 38 points or more so far this season.

As for Stevens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 661st, while Harlan is ranked 112th).

Despite the loss, Stevens still got an impressive performance from Treyvonne Batts, who rushed for 125 yards on only 14 carries.

Harlan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 56-13 victory against Taft on the 24th. As for Stevens, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 45-0 loss against Brennan on the 24th.
