Clayton Valley Charter pushed their record up to 5-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for San Ramon Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Clayton Valley Charter beat San Ramon Valley 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clayton Valley Charter since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
