Football Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Boron Bobcats + How To Watch

Two dominant backs in Robert Evans and Andrew Gartica are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Rosamond Roadrunners will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Boron Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Rosamond and Kern Valley, and Rosamond kept the tradition alive. The Roadrunners walked away with a 30-21 victory over the Broncs on Friday.

A big part of Rosamond's win came down to the chemistry between Marvin Alvarado and his top target Isreal Valero. Alvarado threw for 135 yards and three TDs while Valero picked up 96 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Valero's longest reception was for an incredible 84 yards.

Rosamond was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 284 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Rosamond didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kenneth Iannalfo.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last contest, Boron made sure to put some points up on the board against Desert on Friday. The Bobcats took their game with ease, bagging a 44-13 victory over the Scorpions. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Scorpions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Rosamond's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Boron, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
