James River and Radford are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Knights will head out to face off against the Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, James River made easy work of Carroll County and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Radford got the win against Martinsville on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Radford took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-11, 25-9.

Radford's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for James River, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

James River couldn't quite get it done against Radford in their previous matchup back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
