Basketball Recap: Mount Pleasant Skates Past Gray Stone Day with Ease

Mount Pleasant waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gray Stone Day Knights 67-29. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 100-20 on January 7th.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Colt Greer, who posted six points and ten rebounds. Greer has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times he's played.

Mount Pleasant is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Gray Stone Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Mount Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-60 loss against North Rowan on the 29th. As for Gray Stone Day, they will venture away from home to challenge North Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
