Basketball Recap: Randolph-Macon Academy Skates Past St. John's S with Ease

Randolph-Macon Academy lost to St. John's S back in December of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets took their game with ease, bagging a 73-40 victory over the St. John's S Saints. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellow Jackets.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Randolph-Macon Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Negussie, who went 8 of 13 en route to 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tega Esievo, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

Randolph-Macon Academy's record now sits at 2-0.

Randolph-Macon Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 64-33 win against Wakefield Country Day on the 9th. After both having extra time off, St. John's S and Northern Virginia HomeSchool will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 2:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
