The Timnath Cubs will head out on the road to take on the Palisade Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Timnath 11.7, Palisade 12.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Timnath and Northridge faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Thursday. The Cubs blew past the Grizzlies 63-6. Considering the Cubs have won five matchups by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Timnath to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mitchell Deangelis, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, and also caught one touchdown. Deangelis also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Cubs are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise. Palisade's win came from a few key players Timnath will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dylon Larson, who rushed for 73 yards and one TD. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 66 yards. Another player making a difference was Cade Carter, who rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown.

Timnath's record now sits at 6-4. As for Palisade, their record is now 8-2.
