Football Game Preview: Clyde Fliers vs. Columbian Tornadoes + How To Watch

The Clyde Fliers will head out on the road to square off against the Columbian Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clyde will be strutting in after a victory while Columbian will be coming in after a loss.

Clyde not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 42-7). They blew past Sandusky 40-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fliers.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Columbian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellevue.

Despite the defeat, Columbian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Izayah Swain picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Columbian's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Clyde, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Clyde strolled past Columbian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 33-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fliers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
