Softball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley's last matchup with Mead could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Bears lost 32-0 to the Panthers. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Central Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Bendele, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mead, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Ferris at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mead will face off against rival Cheney at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
