Softball Recap: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Comes Up Short

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn lost against Harris-Lake Park back in May, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hawks fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 7-6. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Harris-Lake Park, the victory snapped their losing streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 3-14 record.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn has already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on the 27th. As for Harris-Lake Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-1 loss against West Sioux on the 26th.
