Football Recap: Deshler's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Deshler and West Morgan pushed the score to 35-34 the last time they played West Morgan, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Tigers took a 13-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Price Thornton threw for 69 yards while completing 85.7% of his passes.

MacArri Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for West Morgan, rushing for 146 yards and one touchdown. Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Deshler fell to 9-1. As for West Morgan, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Deshler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 42-14 win against North Jackson on the 7th. As for West Morgan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-21 victory against Randolph School on the 6th.
