Football Recap: Las Animas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Las Animas and Sanford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Las Animas had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 49-16 loss at the hands of the Mustangs.

Despite the loss, Las Animas still got an impressive performance from Nicholas Duran, who rushed for 126 yards and one score on only 15 carries, and also picked up 43 receiving yards.

Las Animas' loss ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3. As for Sanford, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

As of now, neither Las Animas nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
