Softball Recap: Emilee Peters can't quite lead Ross over Harrison

Softball Recap: Ross Rams vs. Harrison Wildcats
After flying high against Monroe last Wednesday, Ross came back down to earth. The Ross Rams took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Wildcats on Tuesday. Ross was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrison apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Ross saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilee Peters, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
Ross' defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Harrison, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ross will challenge Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Ross surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harrison, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Ursula Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
