Baseball Recap: Terra Linda Comes Up Short

Terra Linda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 20-2 to the San Rafael Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Trojans have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Terra Linda saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaan Black, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Black a new career-high.

Terra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for San Rafael, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Terra Linda will head out on the road to take on Tamalpais at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Terra Linda's pitchers better be ready for this one: Tamalpais has averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for San Rafael, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Redwood at 4:30 p.m. The last five games Redwood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
