If Lakeland was riding high fresh off their 19-0 takedown of Walled Lake Western on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Lakeland came up short against Linden on Saturday, falling 10-3. Lakeland's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Emilee Dostal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Bedini, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Linden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 27-3.

Coming up, Lakeland will square off against South Lyon East at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Linden, they will take on Woodhaven at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
