Volleyball Recap: Riverside Academy Comes Up Short

If Riverside Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of St. James on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels fell just short of the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Riverside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-14. As for Ascension Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-12.

While Riverside Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
