Soccer Game Preview: Green Forest vs. Brookland

The Green Forest Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Brookland Bearcats at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Green Forest is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

While Green Forest's win against Berryville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers beat the Bobcats by a goal, winning 3-2.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Brookland challenged Episcopal on Friday. The Bearcats skirted past the Wildcats 2-1. The result kept Brookland happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 1st.

Brookland is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those nine contests. As for Green Forest, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
