Volleyball Recap: Morningside Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morningside Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Berean Christian Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles (Eddy) in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Morningside Academy started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 17-25, 25-22, 25-11, 15-7.

Elizabeth Strub was nothing short of spectacular for Berean Christian: she had ten digs and five aces. That's the most digs Strub has posted since back in September.

Morningside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Berean Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Morningside Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berean Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Pine on the 16th.
