Volleyball Recap: Eaglecrest Extends Winning Streak to Three

Eaglecrest waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Poudre Impalas by a score of 2-0.

Eaglecrest easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Jackson Shaw paced Eaglecrest's offense, picking up six kills. Shaw got some help from Dillan Ancheta and his eight assists. Shaw was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Eaglecrest's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Poudre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Eaglecrest has already played their next contest (against Ponderosa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Poudre, they will challenge Severance at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
