Volleyball Recap: Cobden Comes Up Short

Cobden lost against Elverado back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Appleknockers fell 2-0 to the Falcons.

Despite the defeat, Cobden saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Mallory Smith had 14 digs.

Cobden now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Elverado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

Cobden has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Brownstown/St. Elmo on the 27th. As for Elverado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Webber on the 27th.
