River Ridge waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 20 straight wins... but they left with 21. They blew past the Woodstock Wolverines 83-52. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 21 points or more this season.

River Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyla Cantey, who went 6 of 13 on her way to 16 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Kayla Cleaveland, who went 8 for 12 en route to 17 points and five rebounds.

Woodstock lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lily Conkell, who posted 12 points and five boards. Lillian Barrett was another key player, putting up 12 points.

River Ridge pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.1 points over those games. As for Woodstock, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Coming up, River Ridge will face off against Sequoyah at 4:00 p.m. on February 12th. River Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 21 matchups -- so hopefully Sequoyah likes a good challenge. As for Woodstock, they have already played their next contest, a 57-42 defeat against Lassiter on the 8th.
