Softball Game Preview: Navarro Panthers vs. Alamo Heights Mules

The Navarro Panthers will challenge the Alamo Heights Mules at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses dating back to last season for Navarro and nine for Alamo Heights.

Navarro fell victim to East Bernard and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 13-0 to the Brahmas. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Alamo Heights fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Madison on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mavericks by a score of 3-2.

Alamo Heights saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pearl Kingman, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Kingman stole this season.

Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Alamo Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
