On Tuesday, Sauk Prairie faced Waunakee in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Sauk Prairie Eagles fell just short of the Waunakee Warriors by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that the Eagles let down their fans at home.

Sauk Prairie took Waunakee into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-19, 25-18, 21-25, 15-13.
