Basketball Game Preview: Sierra Timberwolves vs. Ripon Indians + How To Watch

The Sierra Timberwolves will challenge the Ripon Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Ripon likes a good challenge.

Sierra is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Linden: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Timberwolves blew the Lions out of the water with an 81-36 final score. The Timberwolves haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Romeo Callender had a dynamite game, putting up 24 points. Another player making a difference was Karanbir Bhandal, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, Ripon had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 51-25 to Turlock on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Sierra's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Ripon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Sierra was able to grind out a solid victory over Ripon in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 62-52. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
