Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Alexandria-Monroe

If Elwood wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Alexandria-Monroe, they should've done a better job of containing Brady Gast. The Tigers took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-0 victory over the Panthers thanks in part to Gast, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Gast is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

The win was the third in a row for Alexandria-Monroe, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 49.3 points this season. As for Elwood, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
