Recap: Lincoln Trojans vs. Florida State University High School Seminoles

Even though the Lincoln Trojans have not done well against the Florida State University High School Seminoles recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Lincoln came out on top against Florida State University High School by a score of 51-44. That's two games straight that Lincoln has won by exactly seven points.

Lincoln found their leader in underclassman Jamiya Brown, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The match was Brown's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamesia Smith, who scored 16 points.

Florida State University High School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Micah Evora, who scored 13 points along with five steals. The matchup was Evora's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Hackett, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and five assists.

Even though they lost, Florida State University High School were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln only posted five assists.

The win makes it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Florida State University High School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
