Football Game Preview: Toronto Red Knights vs. West Jefferson Roughriders + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Michael Henry and Austin Buescher are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Toronto Red Knights will face off against the West Jefferson Roughriders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Toronto is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 41-0 win over Grandview Heights. Winning may never get old, but the Red Knights sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Toronto can attribute much of their success to Brady Fair, who picked up 109 receiving yards and three scores, and Drake Bouscher, who rushed for 97 yards. Those three receiving touchdowns gave Fair a new career-high.

Toronto didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maximus Rebich and Mason Clark. Clark is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Toronto received some extra help from Jackson Gibson, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times West Jefferson and Fairbanks had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Roughriders blew past the Panthers 49-6 two weeks ago. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.

Toronto better keep an eye on Braxton Vance. He was instrumental in West Jefferson's win, picking up 142 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 36 yards and two TDs. Memphis Book got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Toronto, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
