Football Recap: Make It 13 in a Row for Bremond

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bremond walked away with it. They walked away with a 17-6 win over the Mart Panthers on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for the Tigers, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.

Tyriq Scott was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 183 yards and one score. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles.

Scott was just one part of a punishing run game: Bremond was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 177 rushing yards in eight consecutive contests.

Bremond's record now sits at 13-0. As for Mart, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Looking ahead, Bremond will challenge Mt. Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Mart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
