Baseball Recap: Bedford Comes Up Short

Bedford lost against Huron on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kicking Mules lost 14-1 to the Chiefs. The Kicking Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bedford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jace Bloomer, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Huron, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Bedford will head out to square off against Lincoln at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Huron, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Jefferson at 4:30 p.m.
