Volleyball Recap: Jimtown Takes a Loss

Jimtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers. If the Jimmies were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lindsay Gonzalez had a dynamite game For Fort Wayne Snider., getting three digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Tatum Miguel, who had nine digs and two aces.

Jimtown's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season.

Jimtown will challenge Triton at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Fairfield on the 13th.
